Stomach flu – 6

If we are keeping score, I guess. This bug is a tough bug. It has survived in our family for over a week and a half now. It is a rather quick bug (like the 24 hour flu or something), but it travels from person-to-person slowly. Like a couple days in between each family member. I’m just glad that the last person to get it – Chris – is able to clean up his own barf, ‘cuz let me tell you….I just can’t do it anymore.
So, in happier news I did get to go on a weekend adventure with some girlfriends to scrapbook FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND. NO KIDS. Well, that is, until Chris got sick and I had to come home early. But I’m not bitter. Nope. Not me.
It was fun while it lasted, but I must say, I did miss these faces…
I mean who wouldn’t miss a naked baby ( is it kind of reminiscent of a Jennifer Aniston pose I once saw on a Rolling Stone cover, but cuter?)
and a boy who wears his own underwear on his head?
I WOULD!

Oh, will that terrible stomach thing ever go away? That’s the worst!!! We’re getting over strep throat over here. First my son and then the hubs. I’m working on a nice ear infection, too…this yucky summer virus stuff needs to go away!!!
BTW, that scrapbooking session you had (while it lasted) would be great for our Theta Mom Thursday!
