Oops, We did it Again.

Well, since I THINK I have told all the appropriate people now, I guess it’s time to announce, yes, I’m pregnant. Again. That is , of course, unless my boss read this. Then, well, SURPRISE! In reality, I haven’t told my boss yet, simply because I don’t want to stir the pot until after my first doctor’s appointment. It almost doesn’t seem real until you can actually HEAR the heartbeat yourself. Twelve positive pregnancy tests and one blood test at the lab are apparently not enough. I know – I’ve beat my old record! (4 tests with Wyatt, 9 with Brookie) It just gets harder and harder to believe, I guess.
Another reason I haven’t told some people is that I really don’t FEEL pregnant this time around. I know I said that with Brooklyn too, but this time, I mean it. My only real symptom is some extreme exhaustion, but as I pointed out to someone the other day, I’ve been exhausted for 4 years now, what’s the diff?
So here are some of my fears with this pregnancy
1. Brooklyn and this child will only be about 19 months apart. REALLY? AM I CRAZY?
2. How will I fit 3 car seats in the back of my Trailblazer?
3. Will I be forced to buy a minivan? NO. Let’s not even go there. That is against my religion or something.
4. $1500 a month for child care. When I told the daycare director that I was pregnant again so they would hold a spot for the baby, I told her, I will only have the three of them here for 9 months, because Wyatt will start Kindergarten the following fall. So you may only take my entire paycheck for 9 months, OK?
5. Will I ever get to sleep through the night again? Between Wyatt getting up for potty breaks and Brooklyn requesting a 5 am bottle still, I’m not sure how I’m going to fit feeding a newborn into this picture. And keep my sanity at the same time.
Chris asked Wyatt the other day if he would like another brother or sister….
WYATT: I want lots of kids (accented by big arm circles)
CHRIS: Really? That’s good!
WYATT: (looking at Brooklyn) But I want BIG KIDS! No more babies!
Hmmmmm……

Hey Lisa!
Congrats on baby number 3!! I like Brookie with pigtails…but I don’t know if it’s the light or what but her hair looks dark blonde in this pic. Still very cute. Hope you stay feeling well.
